The mode switch works across public pages and remembers your browser preference. It does not require JavaScript. Use Website to return to the visual site at any time.
HTTP clients can request Accept: text/markdown. Plain curl, Wget and HTTPie requests also receive Markdown when they do not request HTML. Other clients receive the public HTML page with links to the same content in Markdown.
Each public page has a .md URL; the homepage is /index.md. The site manifest lists all formats. Markdown is generated from the public website at build time.
